Aliyah update

Here is my wee girl at 8 days old :D

8 days old

We have had quite a few feeding and sleeping issues and I have decided to put her on the bottle, she is so much happier for it! I'm hoping a might get more than 2 hours sleep in 20 minute snatches tonight.

Last night my mum came and helped out so I could get some sleep, that enabled me to make a decision today with a clear head and without crying all the time! Since Mike works nights and sleeps until about 3 hours before he has to leave again I feel very alone but he has been wonderfully supportive of me :)

Hope you are all well!

*hugs*

Andie

I hope things start to get settled down soon and you can get some longer stretches of sleep.

She is beautiful.
I know where you're at with a night shift partner. Been there done that. I promise it will get easier as you settle into a routine. So glad you have help and you are getting a rest.
Take care.

That is one beautiful little girl. I remember when my DIL tried to function on no sleep - it didn't go well. Your decision is best for all. I am sure she will thrive well.

Hugs are being sent your way. I understand completely about the no sleep thing. I always feel like a zombie the first month.
